Message of Hope

John 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son,

that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

Never being a great one for memorization, but firmly believing in the love of our Heavenly Father and the undeniable power of truthful words, I knew at a young age that even if I never had the capacity to remember any other verse, that John 3:16 was the one that counted most. It is short, so sweet and gives us a promise of hope like no other words ever spoken, written or thought. The fact that the Almighty Creator loves us so unfailingly that He would hand over his Son to undertake the burdens and sins of the world, to suffer our shame and punishment so that we can return to Him in a perfect eternity without pain or sorrow or any of the other brokenness of this world, has the power to bring a peace that cannot rightly be compared with any other.

No matter who you are, where you've been, what you've done or what you are going through

God Loves You More than any and all of it.

Further reaching than even the distance a loving, earthly father could ever go for his child

God will travel into the pits of any oblivion to bring you back to Him.

The only thing you must do

Is reach up and take His hand.

(Don't worry, He won't let go.)

Jesus Christ lovingly and willingly walked into the hands of His persecutors, His executioners

For you.

So that you can have

Love when feeling unloved,

Light in places of darkness,
